NCPRSA Accepting Nominations for 2010 InSpire Awards Recognizing Excellence in Communications
Early Bird Registration Runs through Feb. 12
RALEIGH, NC, January 17, 2010 /Public Relations PR News/ -- The North Carolina Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (NCPRSA) has announced deadlines for the second annual InSpire Awards. The early bird deadline has been set for Feb. 12, with the final deadline set for 5 p.m. on Feb. 19.
The InSpire Awards, modeled after PRSA's national Silver and Bronze Anvil Awards, are open to all public relations, communications and marketing agencies and teams as well as solo practitioners. The awards recognize excellence in public relations and communications, and include 36 individual categories for media relations, social media, public affairs, marketing, investor relations and more.
Silver InSpire Awards recognize programs or campaigns that meet the highest standards of performance in the profession, while Bronze InSpire Awards honor specific tactics or components of programs or campaigns.
The InSpire Awards Banquet will be held Wednesday, May 5 at Brier Creek Country Club in Raleigh. WRAL News Anchor Bill Leslie has agreed to emcee this year's event, and Business Wire has signed on as a Gold Sponsor.
"Our inaugural InSpire Awards proved to be a great success last year, and we look to build upon that experience by honoring even more outstanding communications efforts this year," said NCPRSA President Chuck Norman, APR. "To save a few dollars, members and non-members are encouraged to take advantage of the early bird entry fees."
